Summary of Events

In March 2025, the University of Missouri Saxophone Ensemble traveled to the North American Saxophone Alliance Region IV Conference. Jackson performed Westland by Andy Scott, an unaccompanied piece for tenor saxophone featuring multiphonics. To read more about this piece, see program notes here. Professor Leo Saguiguit, accompanied by Dr. Rachel AuBuchon on piano, played Screams and Grooves by his long-time friend and colleague Dr. Stefan Freund (pictured below). Jackson joined Professor Saguiguit as double concerto soloists, performing Nathan Leslie’s Mariposa for Saxophone Ensemble (video below).
